FIRE-UP your FAITH and FELLOWSHIP
THANK YOU!! We want to sincerely thank St. John’s parishioners for supporting the many presentations we provided through FIRE-UP Your Faith & Fellowship. The grant supporting those presentations ended in July; however, we plan to continue some of the popular formats for 2026-2027 (see information below-- dates are subject to change-- so check the bulletin). Thank you!).
First Wednesday of the Month (Oct 7 @5:30-6:30 pm). Join us in the Fellowship hall for a light meal and discussion on “The Catholic Bible”. Each month (Oct 7, Nov 4 Dec 2, Jan 6, April 7) will have different topics (to be announced soon). Bring your Bible—or use one we have here. We hope to see you!
Monthly Book Club. (Oct 20 @ 6:00-8:00 pm). Selected Book: THE BISHOP and the Abandoned Tabernacle by Victoria Schneider. Join us for fellowship, food and faith
conversations. 6:00 pm - Social6:30-8:00 PM Book Discussion. Click the button to sign up and to receive a book ($17) or sign up in the gathering space at church.
Exhibits: Man in the Shroud (Feb 20 @ 10-11:30). St. John’s will host a presentation by Jim Bertrand and the exhibit about the cloth believed to be from Jesus’ burial. (Note: This is a replica. The original Shroud is in Turin, Italy). The exhibit will be available to view during regular office hours Feb 20-March 8, 2027.
