In response to the number of new families joining our parish and to maintain manageable class sizes, we have added a faith formation session time next Fall for families with young children (K-5). Our early session, for children in K-5th will meet from 5:00-6:00. Our late session option for students in K-8th will meet from 6:30-7:30. Please note that on your form, you will choose the session time for each child. 6th-8th grade only meets during the late session. We will do our best to keep whole families together within a session time. Contact Kelly Howard at 993-4590 or firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a registration packet.
Our program is here because your family is here, and we are called to help you fulfill the mission of Christ. Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children. (CCC 2223) The Discipleship form has a number of opportunities for you to be involved with our mission. I encourage you to pray. Discern how God is calling you to use your gifts. This form is required to complete your registration.

Parents play the major role in the growth in faith of their children. They are encouraged to be involved in the classes and programs we offer for their children’s formation.
Call to Discipleship: Are you Called to be a Catechist?
The ministry of catechesis is greatly important. The work of a Catechist or Assistant Catechist is a beautiful ministry in which one is called by Christ. The call to be a Catechist is a call to discipleship: to build relationships with children and families and share our Catholic faith. Watch here to see the Joy in Faith Formation.
Second graders celebrate the sacrament of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Parents and catechists are involved in the preparation process. The beginning of the year focuses on Reconciliation and receiving the gift of God’s Mercy. The second half the children continue their journey with Christ learning more about the Mass and Eucharist.
